Back-to-School BBQ September 20
The Welcome Back BBQ and Picnic will be Thursday, September 20th from 4:00pm until 6:30pm. We will also be having our annual Teacher Meet and Greet at this time.

School Council Elections: Sept. 26, 2018
School Council Elections are coming soon! Please come to the first meeting on September 26 for the election if you are interested in becoming a member. Elections to be held at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, September 26 in the JYES Library.

Programs at the Hazeldean library
At the Hazeldean Branch we registered almost 800 children for the TD Summer Reading Club and over the summer, they reported reading over 10,000 books. Some of the children also attended programs this summer to feed their passions in reading, writing, science, innovation, art and lots more. The Ottawa Public Library offers free programs all year round. Here are some of the programs happening this fall at the Hazeldean Branch.

Kindergarten Yard Update - Sept 7
We will have to continue to stay off the kindergarten yard and do the pick up/drop off at the gym doors until the paving is completed. In the meantime, we will continue to use the soccer field behind the portables for outdoor time. We have also opened the gym at recess for kindergarten classes so your child may have some time in there.
