Opportunity for Cross-Cultural Learning

The Ottawa-Carleton Education Network is looking for host families to support a group of grade 5 and 6 students from Chengdu, China from April 12 to May 3, 2025.  Visiting students speak some English and would attend school with your student. There is an $800 stipend provided for hosting a student.  This is an opportunity to share Canadian culture, learn more about Chinese culture, and support students in improving their English language skills.  If you are interested in participating, please consider filling out this application in order to host one or two of the visiting students.
