Earth Week Project

This year, Earth Week will be recognized from April 20-24.  John Young will be inviting Aliana Mundy, the president of Eastern Ontario Beekeepers Association (EOBA) to talk with students about the importance of bees in our society and environment.  As part of this, John Young is hoping to adopt a hive and do our part to support the important work of pollinators.  You can learn more about this initiative by visiting  www.polkadotwheelbarrow.com.  To support this project, we will be asking interested students and families for donations during Earth Week.  We appreciate your support for this valuable learning experience.  More information regarding fundraising will be forthcoming in next week’s message and via classroom newsletters.
